Ashley Rogers is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Masters of Social Work from Stephen F. Austin State University. She works with individuals, couples, adolescents, and adults.
Ashley has worked in many different areas of the mental health field, including the U.S. Air Force, first responders, inpatient hospitals, and a crisis response team, but her passion is working with individuals with trauma. Trauma, especially experienced in childhood, can impact many different aspects of one’s life, even in adulthood. Unresolved trauma can cause many health issues such as depression, anxiety, PTSD, substance abuse, and many physical health issues as well. Ashley uses a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy, and Accelerated Resolution Therapy to guide clients through their healing journey.
Ashley believes that her clients know the answers to their questions, but need the right questions asked of them in order to find those answers. Her work with her clients is client-led, person-centered, and collaborative. She believes that a strong, therapeutic relationship is vital for her clients’ success. Ashley uses her clients’ goals and strengths to empower them to reach their goals. She also understands that asking for professional help comes with stigma, regardless of your background; however, it can also be the most liberating thing one can do for themselves. She believes that no matter what your past looks like, it does not have to define you. It is never too late to live the life you want and deserve!
