Esther Fires, MSN, PMHNP

Esther Fires is a board certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner. Esther has nine years of nursing experience working in a variety of hospital settings including various medical- surgical units, oncology, and in-patient crisis stabilization as a psychiatric nurse.

In the psychiatric nurse practitioner role, she has experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings as well as in tele-psychiatry. Esther also has vast experience working in developing countries around the world and understands the role that culture and background can play in her client’s journey towards mental health.

Esther’s goal as a provider is to seek to listen and understand the whole person to best establish an effective treatment plan with the client. Esther enjoys educating patients on how to best manage their overall wellbeing, not only through available medications, but also through lifestyle modifications and coping skills.
