Monica Alexander, LCSW
Monica is trained in Zones of Regulation, TBRI, and is a Certified Positive Discipline Parenting Educator which can assist with understanding their child’s behavior in a more effective manner to communicate, problem solve, and regulate emotions. Monica is rostered through the TAG center in Trauma and Grief Component Therapy for Adolescents, Certified in Dialectical Behavior Therapy for Adolescents and is Certified in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. An intervention frequently incorporated during therapy is mindfulness self compassion that helps build emotional resilience. Monica enjoys working with adolescents and young adults to navigate any curve ball thrown their way.
