Bret Bellard, MD
Dr. Bellard has over 23 years in experience with mental health issues. He works in both Nevada and Texas, treating a wide variety of patients. He is board certified in both Family Medicine and Addiction Medicine. He is well-versed in treating depression, anxiety and other psychiatric disorders. Also, as a Fellow in the American Society of Addiction Medicine he treats patients for any type of addiction diagnosis.
Dr. Bellard uses his past two decades of clinical experience to treat mental and emotional issues as part of the health of the whole person. In addition to medication when needed, he also uses counseling therapies, family dynamic work, exercise, and nutrition. With the belief that every patient is unique, he strives to allow patients to be their best selves.
Dr. Bellard will work with patients to develop an appropriate treatment plan that includes medication management. If you are a transfer patient, an intake will be done and a course of action will be determined by your physician. All patients have different needs, but Dr. Bellard will not automatically accept your current treatment course of action if it includes several prescriptions and/or dangerous levels of medication.
