Ennessie is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate under the supervision of Denise Espino, MS, LPC-S. She earned her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from St. Mary’s University in August 2025.

She has experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and older adults. She works with a variety of concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma and PTSD, grief and loss, life transitions, and behavioral concerns in children. Her goal is to support clients as they navigate life’s challenges and transitions while helping them develop greater self-awareness, resilience, and overall well-being.

She utilizes Person-Centered and Adlerian approaches to create a warm, safe, empathetic, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard, respected, and supported. She believes that each individual’s experiences, relationships, and circumstances contribute to how they understand themselves and navigate the world. Through a collaborative therapeutic relationship, she works alongside clients to explore their concerns, identify strengths, and develop meaningful strategies for growth and change.

When working with children, Ennessie incorporates principles of Adlerian Play Therapy, emphasizing trust, respect, collaboration, and the development of a strong therapeutic relationship. She takes a holistic approach to understanding children, considering their thoughts, emotions, behaviors, relationships, and social environment. By exploring the purpose and meaning behind a child’s behaviors, she seeks to better understand their needs and support them in developing healthy ways to express themselves, navigate challenges, and build confidence.
