Maria Pinkard, MS, LPC
Maria Pinkard is a bilingual (Spanish) Licensed Professional Counselor in Georgetown, Texas. She received her Master of Science in Counseling and Education from the Texas A&M University in Corpus Christi, Texas. She works with teens, adults, families and couples. Maria has worked in the CPS system, community counseling and Veterans Affairs. She has extensive experience working with clients with PTSD, Anxiety, Depression, Trauma and Grief/Loss.
Maria is passionate about helping people overcome daily struggles that are holding them back from living the quality of life they deserve to live. She strives to build a rapport built on respect and trust, meeting each client where they are by using client-centered, solution-focused and CBT approaches. She works to foster a safe and supportive environment where the client and counselor can effectively work together to resolve problems. Maria’s primary goal as a counselor is to help you find positive changes by identifying sources of distress, uncovering your own personal strengths, and empowering you to ultimately reach your life goals.
